What are your rates?

We get it, no two moves are alike! We prepare customized quotes for each job, which ensures you’ll only pay for the services, supplies and time you need for your move. To reserve your requested moving date, we take a deposit at the time of booking and the balance is to be paid after the move.

Are there any hidden fees?

No one likes surprise fees! We strive to be as transparent as possible, which is why you’ll be presented with a flat fee for your move. This cost includes everything on moving day, meaning you’ll never be hit with an unexpected expense.

How long will my move take?

Move times vary depending on the size of your home, the amount of packing assistance you’ll need, and if you need a hand disassembling/reassembling furniture. Our team is happy to provide you with an estimated completion time once we find out more about your move, location and inventory list.

Do you disassemble/reassemble furniture?

We sure do! However, we always recommend providing original instruction manuals and appropriate tools for complex or custom pieces. That way, we can make the best use of the time you’re paying for and get you settled into your new space as soon as possible.

Do you provide packing services?

Yes! This add-on service is available upon request and is perfect for those who need some extra hands preparing for moving day. Our team is happy to help with packing up your belongings so they’re protected and ready for transport.

How is my furniture protected during the move?

We know how much your belongings mean to you and do everything we can to protect them. We use padded dollies to move your furniture, as well as a combination of wrapping and packing techniques. When necessary, items are shrink-wrapped and covered with padded blankets, and then strategically loaded into the truck to prevent damage on moving day.

Are you insured?

Yes! Imran Movers and Packers is a licensed, bonded and insured Ontario moving company.

What don’t you transport?

We are a small but mighty team that can move furniture big and small. However, we do not move appliances, pianos, flammable items, safes and firearms.

Do I need to be present during the move?

While you do not need to be present throughout moving day, an authorized representative is required to be there at the beginning and again at the end to sign off on job completion.

What is your cancellation policy? 

All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation or rescheduling within 14 calendar days of your confirmed move date will result in a 15% charge. This charge will be billed to the credit card provided upon booking.
